Will Ross CD Update

here is an update on the cd cover I created for local Musician Will Ross. I was given a copy of the CD and it turned out looking AWESOME! 

He soon after left on tour and got me to create his tour poster. Created so dates and locations can be written or printed on.

Random Sketches: Episode #5

Top: That Ink drawing came to me after watching a documentary on Frogs and tadpoles. Not exactly what a tadpole looks like but I already know what a tadpole looks like so I drew this.

Bottom: Not necessarily a sketch but was created in a similar way. It started as a green plaint spill that turned into the x files.

Reggae Poster

This poster for Anja productions had a reggae band headlining so I kept to the right color scheme, cookie cut a lion and you have a reggae poster. (wasn't as easy as described)

Ska Poster

here is my latest poster I have crafted for a ska band popular in Hamilton. They are doing a one time only Reunion show where all proceeds go to kids help phone. I had alot of fun creating this, it took some research but I the finished product is perfect.

Random Sketches: Episode #4

Top: This recent ink drawing was just a sketch that I had done on the first page of a new sketch book. The first page is always life or death, either you do it wrong and the whole sketch book will be forever known as that crappy sketch on the first page, or the coolest sketch book ever that u wanna draw in always. Good thing I nailed it.

Bottom: this old old sketch is something that I had forgotten existed and when moving this past year I found it and all its glory. It was back in my Graffiti days, I still graff every once in awhile but not as much.

Top: this is a ink drawing I had done about a year ago with no real plan in mind. I just like reptiles and amphibians so I went ahead and invented my own

Bottom: Also like top image I am fascinated with bugs and things so I created My own Mantis like bug.

For this piece it was not for anything or anyone I just felt like a good draw that turned into this. It started as just a pencil and ink then I scanned it in and coloured it and here it is!

This ink piece was inspired by my pet newts that I have. This was also was going to be a tattoo for myself but have decided against it. I still like how it turned out !

Club posters

Freelancing for Ajna productions to provide them with club posters for shows that occur at different venues every other week. Coming up with a different design has been a challenge but I feel I am doing alright. there will be more as the moths go on.

concert and production co. logo

This is a logo I made for a show thats going from bar to bar putting on concerts. I got some help from Zack making it a nice clean vector. 

The production company that was putting it on the shows in somewhat new and needed a logo so this is what I produced.

This is now the final poster for the first show. the logo is different because it was before I cleaned it up.

I think it turned out pretty good. hope you all enjoy!

Concert poster

another poster for psychedelicatessin. I wanted to use the same image in the middle as the last ones but I also wanted it to look really different. I came up with this.

Tattoo flash updates

In my one of my past post I have the out line to this owl. Look at it now! just needs a background

so I came up with this>

Just needs some colour and I can combine the two to create a masterpiece.

Again in a previous post u can see just the outline of this, and now its pretty much done might need more in the background, not sure. 

Drew this bad boy awhile ago just now getting it posted. after inking it i knew it needed more,

I will now combine the two and colour them to create a nice rose and gun tattoo, maybe ill throw some banners in somewhere...... well hope you all enjoy!

I had just upgraded software to snow leopard and and organized all my files, when i remember that i had always wanted to make my own icons for my folders and main programs for these are the start of them
