Will Ross CD Update

here is an update on the cd cover I created for local Musician Will Ross. I was given a copy of the CD and it turned out looking AWESOME! 

He soon after left on tour and got me to create his tour poster. Created so dates and locations can be written or printed on.

TOADHOUSE logo

This Vector Logo was designed for a local band. TOADHOUSE play great music and I think is considered a Jam Band. There feel good music and instrumentals blow my mind. I had a great time designing this from the sketches to the final Vector Logo

Reggae Poster

This poster for Anja productions had a reggae band headlining so I kept to the right color scheme, cookie cut a lion and you have a reggae poster. (wasn't as easy as described)

Concert Poster

I had alot of fun with this poster. I like how this turned out, and the character I created still makes me laugh.

Top: this is a ink drawing I had done about a year ago with no real plan in mind. I just like reptiles and amphibians so I went ahead and invented my own

Bottom: Also like top image I am fascinated with bugs and things so I created My own Mantis like bug.

Random Sketches: Episode #1

Top: Ninja Newt is a sketch I had done about a year ago. It was a drawing I drew for my pet newt who had escaped some how and is most likely dried up in the wall somewhere. Poor little guy, this is how i pictured his escape.

Bottom: This is a resent sketch I had done with pencil and ink. the tittle says it all " coon-hat"

Burger T-shirt

This is a T-shirt design I was asked to create by my boss, at my current job Chuck's burger bar.

I make so many burgers a day I drew this one without a reference. But when I had completed it I realized I forgot the cheese. Instead of redrawing the whole thing I just drew the slice on a separate piece of paper, scanned it and used photoshop to put it on. 

and Dont worry I never forget the Cheese when I'm actually working.

Just for fun:

For this piece it was not for anything or anyone I just felt like a good draw that turned into this. It started as just a pencil and ink then I scanned it in and coloured it and here it is!

This ink piece was inspired by my pet newts that I have. This was also was going to be a tattoo for myself but have decided against it. I still like how it turned out !

All this time I did not even have a business card. It turned out almost exactly how I envisioned it.

Cub Poster - Bass Reflex

Another instalment for the Bass Reflex shows. I really really like how this one turned out.

really simple design: texture fill for half and info on the other.

Cd cover for indi. musician

This was a really fun job to do. A friend of mine is releasing an album or mix tape he came up with the whole concept and I just made it happen. 

Club posters

Freelancing for Ajna productions to provide them with club posters for shows that occur at different venues every other week. Coming up with a different design has been a challenge but I feel I am doing alright. there will be more as the moths go on.

concert and production co. logo

This is a logo I made for a show thats going from bar to bar putting on concerts. I got some help from Zack making it a nice clean vector. 

The production company that was putting it on the shows in somewhat new and needed a logo so this is what I produced.

This is now the final poster for the first show. the logo is different because it was before I cleaned it up.

I think it turned out pretty good. hope you all enjoy!

another poster for psychedelicatessin. I wanted to use the same image in the middle as the last ones but I also wanted it to look really different. I came up with this.

Event Posters

Now that I had the logo and image I made them some posters for shows they had. used a lot patterns I don't really know how well they turned out, might be too much. Well don't know what else to say other then it was all created in illustrator.

psychedelic band poster

This is a band logo I made for a cover band of the psychedelic era.

They play a lot Zeppelin, the Doors, Pink Floyd, and many others.
I went for a lava lamp look.

I then went for some sort of branding image for the band.

I will be painting it on there band drum set to be seen at the show.
